In addition to the custom XML content source and the Ignite Markup language, Appcend offers a RESTful API that enables you to manage any aspect of your app's content, as well as giving you the ability to synchronize your social activities by retrieving social media users, adding or retrieving comments or activity streams.

Access to the REST API is based on making signed HTTP requests to our API endpoint, using an API key. All requests are answered by a JSON formatted response containing the success status of the operation and any data that was retrieved.
